Created by SEN parents, led by DBS verified Basketball England Coaches & staff.
This is a fun and inclusive space to learn, no demands.
ALL abilities welcome, no formal diagnosis needed. Ages 5-17 Years welcome.
We offer two types of Basketball SEN sessions, both are parent and carer stay sessions.
Please stay in the hall with your child at all times…. And join in if you wish! 🏀😃
Sensory Basketball - This fun session is for children to use the sports hall, lots of basketballs and equipment available with support from Coaches if they wish. We find this is a perfect session for children who are new to a sporting environment, prefer their own space or have more complex needs as they explore the sports hall. This tends to be a quieter session as there are less bouncing basketballs than our Drills and Games session.
Drills & Games - This fun session is straight into Basketball Drills and Games with demonstrations! We adapt the sessions for ALL abilities and we welcome parents & carers to support the children if they wish!

From 12:30 PM until 01:30 PM
This fun session is straight into Basketball Drills and Games with demonstrations! We adapt the sessions for all abilities and we welcome parents & carers to assist their children if they wish! This session builds on confidence to step on the court, to play as a team member & and to grow self esteem with support from staff!
